The Cruisin Sandpiper and Jayco Escape are almost identical on paper — both are 6.2m two-berth self-contained motorhomes with full bathrooms and air conditioning. The key difference is fridge capacity: the Escape has a 171L fridge compared to the Sandpiper's 80L, which is a meaningful gap for self-catered trips lasting more than a few days. Both have the same minimum age of 21. For shorter trips or routes with regular access to shops, the Sandpiper is a solid choice. For longer, more independent touring, the Escape's larger cold storage gives it a practical edge.
