Overview
The Jayco Atlas and Mystery Machine 2 are very different hires for two people. The Atlas is a fully self-contained motorhome with toilet, shower, a 177L fridge, and air conditioning. The Mystery Machine 2 is a budget Wicked van with no bathroom, no fridge, and no cooling — stripped back to the absolute essentials. The Mystery Machine opens from age 18 compared to 21 for the Atlas. There's very little overlap in the kind of trip each suits: the Atlas is for comfortable independent touring; the Mystery Machine is for budget-first travellers who can manage without onboard facilities.
