The 4WD is built for off-road routes with a fridge/freezer and seats two; the Beta is a road-only 4.6m van that seats four. Both sleep two with no bathroom. The 4WD allows pets; the Beta does not. Mighty requires 21; Spaceships accepts 18. If unsealed tracks are on the route, the 4WD is the relevant option. If the trip is sealed roads and extra daytime seats or a lower age threshold matter, the Beta has the advantage.
